    University of Kentucky Neonatology Faculty Position


    • Required License/Registration/Certification:
      Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Neonatology, and eligible for a state-required medical license.

    University of Kentucky is looking for a skilled individual to join as a faculty member in the Pediatric Neonatology Intensive Unit.

    This role involves directing patient care, writing progress notes, overseeing staff, providing on-call coverage, and offering individual teaching to pediatric residents and other healthcare professionals.

    Additionally, the position includes participation in scientific meetings and committee service at the Children's Hospital and College of Medicine.

    Kentucky Children's Hospital, equipped with advanced sub-specialty programs, features a Level I pediatric trauma center and Level IV newborn intensive care unit.

    The 66-bed NICU provides Level IV and intermediate care, along with neonatal transport services for Eastern and Central Kentucky.

    State-of-the-art technology in the NICU ensures the best care for at-risk newborns, including strategies like infant therapy and high-frequency ventilation.
