    Description
    McCarthy is seeking an experienced, culture-centric business analyst to lead the analysis, design, implementation, and support of McCarthy's applications and related systems. This role will partner closely with our Preconstruction leadership teams and their respective departments to identify, prioritize, and execute work programs that drive value for the enterprise. Primary ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis and Solution Design
    • Develop a strong understanding of key operational processes, workflows, and applications, including how the applications support business processes and users, system interfaces to/from other systems, reporting, and configuration and customization capabilities.
    • Facilitate effective discovery sessions and techniques to uncover specific business needs and requirements. Understand unique differences across regions and project teams.
    • Partner closely with individuals and teams to consider new and better ways to apply technology to drive greater business outcomes (improved efficiency, safety, quality, profitability, etc.). Leverage techniques such as process mapping and user stories to translate conceptual requirements into clear and detailed requirements.
    • Establish a clear understanding of the overall portfolio of McCarthy technologies and processes. Ensure an in-depth functional understanding of current technology solutions and processes used by Risk and Compliance and the integrations with other systems.
    • Establish a future state vision centered around people, process, and technology that aligns with the organization's overall strategic direction.
    • Employ a disciplined approach to designing, developing, and validating future state technology use cases that deliver value. Solutions can represent new or existing technology platforms and tools, critical enhancements or changes to existing technologies, systems integration efforts, or custom technology solutions.
    • Evaluate solution designs and implementations from vendors and internal partners. Recommend optimal options for project groups based on objective measures and alignment with enterprise goals.
    • Provide administration and on-going support.
    Internal and External Relationship Management
    • Build strong partnerships with internal business leaders, influencers, project teams, and users serving as the technology and business enablement advocate to advise and direct the best practice methods.
    • Act as liaison to other IT teams and be a focal point for cross-application integration opportunities.
    • Develop a network of trusted stakeholders who contribute critical feedback and perspectives.
    Project Planning, Execution, and Change Management
    • Execute mindful project planning for each technology initiative, including resource planning, schedule and milestone planning, risk mitigation, issue management and ongoing communication.
    • Seek to execute projects in an agile, highly collaborative manner with a goal of delivering value for McCarthy throughout project execution.
    • Plan, develop and execute testing, communication, and change management activities.
    • Develop training content based on best practices.
    • Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, team members, strategic partners, and vendors.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
    • 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, delivery, and support preferred
    • Background in engineering or construction is preferred
    • Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with aptitude for acquiring new skills
    • Highly motivated and collaborative team player with passion for delivering value to the organization
    • Strong organizational and project management capabilities with a drive for continuous improvement
