    Maintains adequate internal control to safeguard the assets of the hotel.
    Supervises the financial department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general accounting, general cashiers, and night auditors.
    Plans and implements accounting procedures and systems.
    Assists in preparing the financial analysis of operations.

    Assists in preparing reports outlining the hotel's financial position in areas of income, expense and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.

    Assists in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
    Maintains files of all contracts, payroll, etc.
    Hires, trains, coaches and counsels, disciplines, and develops employees under his/her supervision.
    Assists in preparing accounting analysis as directed by HHMG or the General Manager.
    Performs all other related duties as directed by the General Manager and/or corporate accounting.
    Cluster responsibilities for two downtown hotels.
    Maintains adequate internal control to safeguard the assets of the hotel.

    Month End close, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations.

    The ability to produce high quality work in a consistent and reliable manner, in support of Hyatt's standards and processes.

    Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
    A minimum of four years' experience in the accounting field or related job experience is desired.
    College Degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
    Must be computer literate with a knowledge of Word and Excel.
    Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
    ~4 years or more of progressive hotel Accounting Management experience (typically with Hyatt)
    ~ Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
