    Atlassian is looking for a new Head of Advisory Services to join our senior leadership team. Reporting directly to our Head of Customer Success, this VP-level leader will own the strategy and delivery across our global professional services practice to deliver the technical, operational, and consultative perspective our Enterprise customers need to be successful with every Atlassian solution. Advisory Services is a global, 130+ person , $40M+ services organization with Atlassian solution expertise in delivering consultative services to ensure every customer realizes maximum value with Atlassian's multi-product, multi-solution portfolio of products.

    To meet the opportunity ahead, this senior leader will create and run the strategy and investment for Advisory Services, a globally-distributed, in-house Services and Consultancy focused on high-value, high-touch engagements with our most strategic customers. Collaborating with Customer Success Management, Sales, Product, Analytics, Marketing, and Support, this position will be instrumental in defining the strategic direction and operational strategies for how Atlassian connects product value to customer outcomes.

    What you'll do:

    • Set vision for, and create operational cadences for a global, distributed team of 130+ across EMEA, APAC and the Americas
    • Lead the process of building a multi-year vision and strategy for Advisory Services as a force multiplier for Atlassian solutions
    • Mentor the team and shape the capabilities of a global Advisory Services organization, with an eye to developing leaders and attracting top talent
    • Create and implement an effective, data-driven multi-segment offering Enterprise strategy to meet the needs of our largest customers
    • Partner with marketing, analytics, support, and product teams to continuously evolve the engagement models for onboarding, adoption, expansion, and retention
    • Shape the organizational objectives and success metrics, and guide your functional leaders on achieving measurable advisory services outcomes
    • Create a teaming model for partnering with pre-sales, support, and the channel team on a cohesive approach to enterprise account success


    Your background

    • Minimum of 15+ years of leadership experience across the customer landscape with an emphasis on professional or advisory services.
    • Professional services experience in a fast-growing, multi-product, global SaaS organization serving tech-savvy customers, with a breadth of exposure to both SMB and Enterprise customer needs.
    • Experience leading professional services or consultancy in parallel with a large and influential channel partner ecosystem.
    • Strong knowledge of professional services operations, including implementation methodologies, customer success strategies, and risk mitigation.
    • Ability to influence across the C-Suite with desire and ability to lead in a matrixed, highly-complex environment.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
    • Experience building and executing strategic plans within a fast-paced B2B enterprise software company.
    • Extensive experience driving revenue growth across advisory services or customer success organizations.


    Compensation
    At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
    Zone A: $239,000 - $318,600
    Zone B: $215,100 - $286,800
    Zone C: $198,400 - $264,500
    This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
