Responsibilities
Oversee lead abatement/disturbance projects
Inaction with clients and contractors to determine daily work activities
Preparation of daily written logs summarizing work activities and observations
Review of waste storage areas and tracking of waste generated during the project
Transmittal of daily logs to project managers
Qualifications
Current C-3/C-5 Certification from Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) formerly known as The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC)
2+ years experience performing lead abatement/disturbance monitoring for MTA NYCT related projects
Valid MTA NYCT Track Safety Training Card
Ability to work nights and/or weekends based on project schedules
Experience performing air monitoring on abrasive blasting projects a big+
Valid NYS Drivers License and vehicle a plus
Additional asbestos, lead, mold and OSHA Certifications a big+
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach working with clients and construction contractors/subcontractor
Ability to prepare reports on all findings.
