    Location Details:
    Aerocraft Heat Treating CO. Inc is a PCC-owned commercial heat treating facility specializing in steel, titanium, and high-temperature materials. Established in 1959, Aerocraft treats forgings, castings, bar, plate, and rough-machined parts. The materials are processed for the majority of aerospace prime contractors.

    Job Summary: The Quality Technician is accountable for inputting customer purchase order information to generate a shop traveler. The individual must ensure that customer purchase orders, process specifications, and prime contractor requirements are accurately identified and conveyed to the shop floor pre-production.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and all PCC Cardinal Rules (e.g. Quality and Safety)
    • Follow Quality Policy and Quality Objectives set by Aerocraft Heat Treating
    • Check router precision and compliance with purchase order, process specification, and prime contractor requirements
    • Confirm that purchase order requirements and relevant specifications are included in the shop router
    • Enter purchase order data into the shop traveler system to create a shop router
    • Maintain system documentation for necessary specifications and documents for material processing
    • Alert customers of any discrepancies between the purchase order and the receiving slip
    • Timely communication of quality queries and concerns to the customer
    • Support daily clerical and administrative tasks, such as email correspondence and filing
    • Perform other assigned duties
    Basic Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
    • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
    • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently without constant supervision
    Preferred Qualifications:

    • At least 1 year of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing/Processing
    • Proficiency in interpreting specifications and purchase orders
    • Ability to understand and apply work instructions on Shop Travelers
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

    Quality Technician Level 1 19.25-28.75

    This role involves access to sensitive information and production processes that fall under national security controls governed by U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
