We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist specializing in Internal Medicine for a locum tenens opportunity near Benld, Illinois. Opportunity Details: Start Date: March 10, 2025 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call-only, encompassing both general and interventional cardiology. Shift Details: Patients seen per shift: 12-20 Admissions: Approximately 12 per shift Call ratio: 15-30 calls per 24 hours Call back rate: 30% Facility Information: Cardiac unit with 64 beds Stroke-certified hospital with advanced cardiac care capabilities. EMR System: Epic Qualifications: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology under Internal Medicine. Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology is required. Active Illinois medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). Certifications needed: ABLS, ACLS, BLS.
