Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Production Supervisor will oversee our production processes and lead a team of employees to ensure efficient and effective operations.

You will be responsible for overseeing the production area to ensure that volume, cost and quality standards are achieved.
Works with planning to establish work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity.
Provides production process analysis and makes recommendations on solutions to process improvements.
Familiar with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Extensive knowledge of department processes.
Responsible for managing contracts.
Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Responsible for coaching, education, and necessary discipline of staff along with related documentation.
Establish training and development plans for employees to help them succeed in their position and professional goals.
Assists in hiring process, including orientation and training of new employees.
Ensure employees make quality products as efficiently as possible, adhering to the instructions and established quality procedures and standards.
Maintain daily metrics of production goals vs actual; analyze shortfalls and document causes.
Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements 5+ years' functional experience and demonstrated expertise in a manufacturing environment and 3+ years' supervisory experience.
Must have strong emotional intelligence (EQ)

Possess strong written/verbal communication skills and strong leadership characteristics.

High School Diploma, College Degree preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience working with HR to effectively manage employees in the areas of training, 1:1s, hiring, terminations, and performance improvementMicrosoft Office and ERP experience and knowledge.

Non-Exempt Salary Details:
The base pay rate for this role is between $26 to $36 per hour. The range for this position is an estimate. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
