    Infosys is seeking an


    Infrastructure and Application Automation Enginee r to review the technical needs and recommend automation solutions to business analysts and various lines of business for our client.

    This role is responsible for ensuring automation solutions are successfully integrated into the infrastructure and will be required to automate complex IT projects/tasks from requirement gathering and design to production deployment.

    The Automation Expert will also be responsible for analyzing the impact of any changes to the environment and take appropriate actions including user communication.


    Required Qualifications:
    Candidate must be located within commuting distance of

    El Dorado Hills, CA or Long Beach, CA

    or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
    Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
    U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
    At least 4 years of experience of Information Technology experience.
    At least 3 years of experience in

    IT Infrastructure Automation solutions
    Design and develop IT infrastructure Automation solutions using scripting languages i.e.,

    Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST, YAML, and JSON etc.
    In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of multiple infrastructure automation tools and technologies such as

    Ansible, Puppet, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform
    Working experience of DevOps tools,

    GIT, CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins,

    etc.
    Integrate Automation solutions with other IT tools and platforms.
    Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to build and manage infrastructure in a consistent and repeatable way.
    Monitor and maintain automation scripts to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
    Develop and implement best practices for automation development and operation.
    Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure automation.
    Collaborate with other IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective automation solutions.
    Document your work and share your knowledge with others.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Planning and Co-ordination skills.
    Good Communication and Analytical skills.
    Strong understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts
    Basic knowledge of Infrastructure Technologies and Operations
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Availability to work outside of traditional office hours.
