Job Description

As a Security Officer - Lobby Reception in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while helping manage access, verify credentials, and support visitor and tenant needs. You will monitor activity from the lobby, document incidents and service requests, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. Bring an agile, people-first approach and act with integrity to support smooth, security-related operations.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property front desk.

Control access to the location by greeting and verifying visitors, issuing visitor passes and/or badges as directed, and directing guests to the appropriate destinations.

Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and/or alarm indicators from the front desk, and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership in a timely manner.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to property management and/or emergency services as needed.

Complete shift logs and incident reports, document key events, and communicate updates during post transitions to support consistent security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
