The Afloat Submarine C4I IPT Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) Multi-purpose Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) team is seeking an Engineer, Cybersecurity II in Charleston, SC.
Afloat Submarine C4I IPT Common Submarine Radio Room (CSRR) Multi-purpose Reconfigurable Training System (MRTS) is the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Program Executive Office (PEO) C4I model to provide seamless, end-to-end communications training supporting the Sailor 2025, Ready Relevant Learning initiative.
Providing system of systems training of this caliber to others in the DoD C4I community is a command goal both now and for the future.
Duties include:
Perform tasks to ensure Navy applications, systems, and networks satisfy Federal/DoD/DON/Navy cybersecurity
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science
Certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.
Three (3) years of experience:
Preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
Planning, implementing, upgrading, and/or monitoring cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network
Assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
ensuring appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
Responding to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports
Secret Clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $80,226 - $133,973. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
