- Ability to write adhoc queries (complex and simple) using MS SQL Server tools for data research and data update validation.
- Ability to develop or modify software utilities and programs using VB.NET or C#.NET to support the WIC program.
- Ability to write complex SQL Server reports for data validation and WIC program use.
- Create, execute, and revise software test plans, procedures, and scenarios as needed.
- Ability to understand and document business requirements for requested changes, as well as, review and interpret vendor documentation for accuracy
- Knowledge of and experience with the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is desirable.
- Some knowledge and experience with automated defect tracking and testing tools are desired.
- The ability to assist with trouble shooting and resolving problems using Software Quality Assurance processes and standards is also desired.
- In addition, the ability to work independently to generate SQL queries for research, creating SQL Server Reports, and conducting quality assurance and unit testing are desired.
- Minimum four years of experience in Applications Development and Support to include programming/systems analysis experience and SQL experience.
