    We are looking for an MRI Technologist to join our dedicated team in the MRI Department. As an MRI Technologist, you will conduct MRI exams on patients of all ages.



    • Prepare and validate patient screening safety forms.
    • Educate patients on MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
    • Maintain equipment and promptly report any malfunctions.


    The ideal candidate:

    • Possesses strong communication skills and excels in multitasking.
    • Is a Registered Technologist with ARRT credentials and Basic Life Support certification.
    • Thrives in a team environment, showing empathy and compassion.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related processes.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Preparing patients for MRI procedures.
    • Conducting MRI procedures and daily QA tasks.
    • Assisting in scheduling patients and ensuring their comfort during exams.
    • Addressing equipment malfunctions and optimizing equipment availability.
    • Processing billing and mentoring new hires and students.
    • Participating in professional development programs and rotations.

    Requirements:

    • Education: AMA-approved Radiologic Technology school, Sonography, or equivalent.
    • Certifications: ARRT credentials, Basic Life Support certification.
    • R.T.(MR)(ARRT) certification required within a year of hire.

    Experience and Physical Demands:

    • Minimum one year of relevant experience.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and operate equipment.
    • Capacity to exert physical effort and follow safety protocols.
