- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- 100 hours of clinical observations (needed for an SLPA license in Oregon) - we can assist in fulfilling this requirement for qualified candidates
- Oregon SLPA license
- Follow treatment plans as instructed by speech-language pathologists
- Record students' progress in communication skills based on their Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collect data to track student advancement
- Support various tasks such as organizing materials, maintaining records, ensuring supplies availability, and arranging activities
- Aid speech-language pathologists in improving speech and language skills
- Choose or create instructional materials for speech and language activities
- Assist in student language, voice, fluency, articulation, or hearing assessments conducted by speech-language pathologists
- Develop visual aids like charts or graphs to present student goal information
- Test and maintain equipment for optimal performance
