    Assembler - Entry Level

    Position Summary: This Entry Level Assembler position will work in our Prefab Department. The successful candidate will have an aptitude for mechanics and attention to detail. This position will ensure all parts and products are in proper working order and meet the quality standards of the company and industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Follow work instructions and fill out QC paperwork.
    • Safely use hand tools; Drill, Impact, Channel locks, Hammer, etc.
    • Interpret technical documents such as diagrams, blueprints & schematics from written and verbal instructions.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Be able to read a tape measure.
    • Ability to solve problems as they arise.
    • Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.
    • Ability to adhere to company policies and meet safety requirements.
    • Work well with other team members.
    • Keep work area clean and safe.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent hand eye coordination
    • Basic mechanic skills
    • Can lift and carry 25 lbs throughout the day; up to 50 lbs on occasion
    • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
