    CONTRACTOR POSITIONRep Data is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our Finance team as a Part-Time Accountant. This role will primarily focus on processing accounts payable transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting other accounting functions as needed. We are looking for someone who is looking to grow with us and transition to an in-house role as we expand.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:
    • Work around 30 hours per week.
    • Report to a Finance Manager and work along side a team of six.
    • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Verify invoice accuracy and obtain necessary approvals for payment.
    • Help to prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.
    • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
    • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Provide support for other accounting functions, such as accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial analysis, as needed.
    WHAT YOU BRING:
    • Required
      • 2+ years of experience
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, G Suite and accounting software
      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
    • Preferred
      • Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, Tipalti, or Rippling
      • Bachelor's Degree
      • New Orleans based with ability to come into office
      • Someone looking to grow with us and transition to an in-house role as we expand
