Position Information Job Title Internal Medicine, Hospitalist (Johnson City, TN) Department Internal Medicine Pay Grade 1 Job Category College of Medicine Faculty Job Summary The Department of Internal Medicine, East Tennessee State University ( ETSU ) Quillen College of Medicine seeks Academic Hospital Medicine Faculty for an established university practice in Johnson City, TN. The ideal candidate will have the unique opportunity to be the faculty-attending physician for hospital educational activities that focus on the care of patients and the teaching of internal medicine residents and medical students. Faculty rank commensurate with education and experience.Qualified candidates will be ABIM certified or eligible at the time of hire in Internal Medicine; the position is open to experienced physicians as well as recent graduates with demonstrated leadership ability, excellence in patient care, and a passion for teaching. Compensation includes a base salary, and clinical collections, and may include additional funds for educational duties and scholarships. Flexible time, comprehensive benefits package, generous CME allowance, and transitional allowance provided.
