Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to cover a long-term leave of absence at an outpatient pharmacy in Ohio.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a specialized environment, supporting a Behavioral Health Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have pharmacy technician certification through PTCB, be a registered Ohio State Pharm Technician, and possess basic knowledge of Pyxis (Automated Dispensing Cabinet).

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Ordering, repacking, organizing, pulling, refilling, and management of medications
Answering phone calls and providing excellent customer service
Supporting nursing staff and patients on the floor
Operating and maintaining the Pyxis Automated Dispensing Cabinet
Collaborating with the Director of Pharmacy, occasional Support Pharmacist, and other pharmacy staff to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Skills Required:

Pharmacy technician certification through PTCB
Registered Ohio State Pharm Technician
Basic knowledge of Pyxis (Automated Dispensing Cabinet)
Familiarity with HCS order entry system (training will be provided)

Staff Size: 1 Director of Pharmacy + 1 Technician + Occasional Support Pharmacist
