Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender Server to join our vibrant hospitality team In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expert drink mixing, and attentive hospitality. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently take food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety and responsible serving policies.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly during busy hours, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while providing detailed descriptions of drinks and specials.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like processing payments with POS systems and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including food handling, glassware, and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages during events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and alcohol regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining, nightclub, or banquet experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like catering or banquets.
- Previous experience in brewing or the food industry is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
