Industrial Maintenance Technician
An ADP client is currently recruiting for an experienced individual to be our next Industrial Maintenance Technician and join our team in our Plant City, FL 33566 location.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen.
Experience with service and operation of industrial mobile equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and skid steer loaders.
Experience with troubleshooting various machine systems (Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical).
Perform Preventative maintenance activities and other routine maintenance and repairs around facility grounds.
Actively participate and support operations functions as necessary, including but not limited to internal equipment inspections, fire watch, cleaning of work area(s), etc.
Ability to use basic math operations to complete daily tasks.Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and general assembly schematics.
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Industrial Technology/Industrial Maintenance/Electrical Technology Certifications preferred.
Working Shifts:
Looking to FILL the following SHIFTS.
Tuesday thru Saturday from 5:15am to 1:30pm
Sunday thru Thursday from 1:30pm to 10:00pm
Tuesday thru Saturday from 1:30pm to 10:00pm
Sunday thru Thursday from 5:15am to 1:30pm
Electrical Requirements:
Experience working with low to medium voltages ranging from 12 to 24 VDC and 120 to 480 VAC.
Basic understanding of PLC operations, serial communications, ethernet communications, field instrumentation, and I/O functions.
Ability to do common electrical distribution work such as installing conduit, flex conduit, rigid piping, seal tight conduit, and disconnect switches.
Mechanical Requirements:
Installation and repair of a variety of power transmission devices including bearings, direct drive gear reducers, chain drives, sprockets, and belt drives.
Installation of electric motors and various motor couplings.
Assembly/repair of large industrial equipment, including medium bore bearings.
Knowledge of basic rigging/lifting techniques.
Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a variety of hydraulic pumps, motors, accumulators, piping, and heat exchangers.
Fabrication:
Ability to measure and cut using oxy-acetylene torches or plasma torches. Clear and demonstrable understanding of Lock out/Tag out procedures and energy isolation.
Understanding of and experience with various fall protection equipment and industry standard practices.
Familiar with the use of Hot Work Permits, as well as fire prevention equipment (fire extinguishers, welding blankets, and welding curtains).
Conduct housekeeping and clean-up functions.Work assigned shifts, overtime as needed, day shift, mid shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work in an environment with presence of industrial and vehicle operations.
Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 30+ feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and common use of man lifts wearing a safety harness.
Heat, noise, vibration, oils, greases, solvents, and atmospheric conditions such as dust.
Hourly range is $30 to $35, commensurate with experience and education.
