Job Summary
Applicant will be responsible for overseeing several projects of variable sizes and complexity from inception to completion, maintaining schedule, site safety, project tracking and reporting, managing communication with the client, firm management, field staff and the office, preparation and tracking of change orders, and managing payments for contracts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Construction Industry related field.
Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Assistant Project Manager as well as 5 years experience as a Field Representative or 10 years relevant construction industry experience with public and private sector projects.
Must be proficient in construction related PC applications including CAD, Revit, scheduling software, Project Management system software, as well as Quickbooks accounting software.
Experience in the petroleum industry and product familiarity is a plus.
Must have at a minimum 40 Hour OSHA training.
A valid drivers license is a must.

Ability to read and comprehend plans, specifications, addenda, contracts, bid materials, shop drawings, and related construction documents.
Excellent oral and written communications skills. Math skills are essential.
Analytical and conceptual skills.
Ability to lead and/or participate in team endeavors.
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage workload, and meet time sensitive deadlines is a must.
Strong leadership skills including interpersonal and diplomacy skills as well as the ability to work well with others and be a team member.
Ability to develop and amend CAD files.
DutiesDescription:
Represent EES as primary liaison to client agency for projects assigned.
Proactively schedule and coordinate company work force and subcontractors to ensure completion of the project in accordance with project schedule and to ensure no additional costs are required for completion of work.
Knowledge of equipment and materials used for projects assigned is essential. Must be able to place orders with various vendors for equipment and materials, keep track of orders and coordinate deliveries.
Prepare cost estimates to present to client for any change order work, submit for approval and negotiation, and track change order for completion of work and payment by client.
Oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, and quality control
Management of schedule, including weekly preparation of two-week look ahead.
Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones and inspections. Ability to keep track of all projects assigned and knowledge of status of each project and its projected completion.
Manage RFIs from creation, suggestions on solutions, and track progress through completion and closeout.
Prepare, maintain and review punch list items to ensure all items are addressed and completed in a timely manner.
