Job Title: Remote Software Test Analyst
Location: Remote position, limited to candidates residing in Minnesota.
Duration:* Contract position
Hourly Rate:* $40-$45 per hour
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in writing test cases and test plans.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing and/or software development.
Minimum 2 years of SQL experience with proficiency in complex queries.
Experience testing products deployed to Web Services.
Strong proficiency in MySQL, Oracle, and SQLite technologies.
Familiarity and understanding of different software development life cycles and software testing life cycles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to read and understand complex workflow and business requirement documentation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test cases and test plans to ensure the quality of software products.
Perform software testing activities across various stages of development and deployment.
Utilize SQL skills to perform complex queries for testing purposes.
Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and technical specifications.
Work closely with project stakeholders to communicate testing progress and findings.
Document and report software defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation.
Adhere to project timelines and deliverables as outlined in the contract agreement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with Agile and/or DevOps methodologies.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
*Note:* This is a remote position, and candidates must be located in Minnesota.
