Description
Responsibilities for this Position Supplier Quality Control Analyst SrUS-CTThe role of a Supplier Quality (SQ) Analyst for Engineered Components is responsible for executing quality validation of buy part numbers, Vendor Information Requests (VIR) and performing analytical review of supplier quality data in support of the Supplier Quality Management plans.
The SQ Analyst will review required quality systems defined within part number requirements and validate supplier have the appropriate quality management systems to support execution of work.
SQ Analyst duties include:
Analyzing policies, procedures, and specifications for conformity to the requirements Analyze supplier performance data Communicate requirements, both verbally and written to internal customers and suppliers Recognize emergent quality issues Supporting root cause, corrective, and preventive analysis at suppliers Supporting audits at suppliers Support supplier quality management and engineering as needed Responsibilities Desired Core Values and Proven Professional Attributes Responsible and dependable Focused and detail oriented Organized and prepared Adaptable and trainable Professional appearance and attitude Proficient in MS-Office and related software Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills Demonstrate strong independent management skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
Qualifications Required:
BS degree in supply chain or other relevant discipline, equivalent military service, or 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, operations, data analysis, contract review, or supply chain management Previous experience interpreting contractual requirements, manufacturing drawings, and military or commercial specifications High School Diploma/GED
Required Preferred:
Experience working with Quality requirements Experience with Supplier oversight Auditing experience
Quality Certifications:
