    About the Role:

    This role will be a Director level role and will manage both ICs and other managers but is also expected to contribute to critical projects as needed. The Director of Infrastructure Engineering is a key leadership role within Tubi's Technology team, focused on advancing our core infrastructure for our streaming service. This role involves strategic oversight, hands-on management, and deep technical leadership of our Infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, resiliency, and innovative deployment of services. You will guide and support the Infrastructure Engineering team, who are directly handling the code, services, and operational procedures essential for building and running applications at Tubi. The Director of Infrastructure Engineering will play a pivotal role in nurturing and advancing the existing DevOps culture within the organization, ensuring that your team is at the forefront of adopting and establishing best practices in areas such as architecture, security, deployment, and application monitoring.

    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Vision: Define and execute the strategy for scaling our infrastructure to meet the demands of our growing streaming service
    • Collaborative Leadership: Facilitate collaboration between technology teams, guiding the development and implementation of scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions
    • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, operation, and performance of our infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality and technological advancement
    • Operational Process Enhancement: Lead the improvement of operational processes, focusing on automation, continuous integration, and deployment efficiency
    • Security and Compliance: Ensure the infrastructure aligns with top security standards and compliance requirements, maintaining a robust and secure environment
    • Technical Mentorship: Provide mentorship to the infrastructure team, leveraging deep technical expertise to guide and contribute to critical projects where necessary

    Your Background:

    • 10+ years in an Infrastructure role, with 3+ of those years in a leadership role, directly managing managers & engineers
    • Strong technical skills with a willingness to be hands-on when needed; our stack includes AWS, k8s, Python with a focus on Linux and OSS
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex infrastructure projects
    • Experience participating in audits for NIST, SOC2, SOX, GDPR, or CCPA
    • Ability to negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors
    • Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools

    Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
