Pay Range:
Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver Innovative, high-quality industry leading communication services for deaf and hard of hearing communities.
Participate in the software development process and software lifecycle of internal applications,Work with cross functional teams to design, implement and deploy new features and enhancements.
Collaborate with backend developers to define API's and interfaces for microservices, Collaborate with UX team and incorporate user feedback.Work with
AWS services - EC2, lambda, S3, DynamoDB, amazon Kinesis, Cloud Watch, etc
Implement standards based communication protocol and technologies using JSON, Http, REST
Design and develop high quality, high-performance enterprise-class services and operationalmanagement tools
Design, develop, and utilize tools for automatically evaluating product quality, systemperformance and scalability
Follow engineering best practices to develop high quality products as part of a committed team
Use of agile and rapid application development processes to speed engineering efforts
Education
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Computer Science or a related area or equivalent work experience
Required
Advanced development and debugging skills implementing system Java Script. React Native, , TypeScript and Electron.
Advanced knowledge of cloud computing using
AWS
Advanced knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Orchestration (Terraform)
Experience with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and WebSocket
Must be able to effectively communicate using written English, and either spoken English or ASL
Demonstrated ability to manage small to medium sized projects
Experience with GitHub and GitHub actions
Nice to have
AWS certification
Proficiency with IP networking including TCP and UDP
