    This position is responsible for managing data related products and services across multiple departments within the organization to advance the institutions mission.

    Creates reports, dashboards, statistical analysis and provides trend analysis data to support instructional effectiveness and program planning. Provides backup support services to Database Administrator by managing data infrastructure, creating automation and ensure continuity of data systems. Promotes diversity and inclusion through the use of data.

    Specific duties include:
    Creates reports, dashboards, statistical analysis and provides trend analysis data to support institutional effectiveness.
    Create, evaluate, review and manage process improvement efforts within the college. Document all pertinent end user information using existing departmental procedures and tools.
    Provides backup support services to Database Administrator by managing data infrastructure, maintaining automation and ensure continuity of data systems

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associate's degree in data science, statistics, math or technology from an accredited institution AND 2 or more years of data analysis or design experience using modern data systems OR: relevant data analyst certification with 4 or more years of data analysis or design experience using modern data systems
    • Knowledge of research skills, methodologies and statistics.
    • Ability to communicate technical reports and information to non-technical audiences.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel pivot tables, v-lookup or equivalent.
    • Experience using crystal reports, SSPS or equivalent.
    • SQL querying knowledge on SSMS and oracle SQL Dev.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced degree in data science, statistics, math or technology from an accredited institution
    • 2 or more years implementing, supporting or integrating a CRM and/or business intelligence tools.
    • 2 or more years working with budgets and budget projections.
    • Experience with Microsoft, SQL, VBA, R or equivalent.
    • Experience with Visual Studio and PowerShell scripting.
