- Possess the requisite knowledge and clinical skills to provide care to the Young Adult, Adult and Geriatric age groups.
- Adapt and willing to learn and assist acute care neurosurgery procedures and management.
- 4-year bachelor's degree
- 4-year medical school program
- 6 to 8 additional years of residency program
- Two (2) years of relevant Neurosurgery clinical experience Licenses & Certifications Minimum
- Active ME license in State of Florida AND
- Active board certification.

The Physician functions as an independent healthcare provider who, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team, is responsible for providing comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in an outpatient setting.
She/he demonstrates a high degree of clinical expertise in caring for Neurosurgery patients with acute and chronic neurological illnesses commonly encountered within neurosurgery.
He/she is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion, care coordination and mediates discharge transitions for patients and families with acute and chronic Neurosurgery health needs.
The Physician demonstrates an advanced level of medical clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism and systems-based practice. He/she works with administrative, nursing, and physician to assure safe, effective, quality patient care.Demonstrates knowledge of etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, presentation and epidemiology of medical conditions.
