Mary's Woods needs a Lead Server who excels in communication and customer service to boost their Food and Beverage team. As a Lead Server, you will oversee a group of servers, ensuring meals are served impeccably on a beautifully set table for residents and guests to relish. Your role involves fostering positivity among staff, residents, and families, working collaboratively, and upholding the organization's mission and vision.

Key responsibilities, experience, and skills required for success include:

• Create an environment that encourages and celebrates diversity

• Train team members to maintain service consistency
• Lead front-of-house staff and address guest issues in the absence of a supervisor
• Have knowledge of menu offerings, food safety, and service techniques
• Complete opening/closing duties and assigned side work
• Communicate effectively with managers on various department matters
• Assist in table setup and resident seating
• Be courteous while taking orders, serving, and resetting tables
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a pleasant demeanor
• Possibly take on additional roles like Host or Bartender as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of serving experience
• At least 6 months of leadership experience in hospitality
• Current Oregon Food Handlers Card
