    Employment Type: Full-time Contract Position through Soliant Education

    Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Spanish Teacher to join our team in Chesterfield, SC. As a Spanish Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students to explore the richness of the Spanish language and culture. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful impact on students' language acquisition and global awareness.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement engaging Spanish curriculum that aligns with state standards and educational objectives.
    • Teach various levels of Spanish language courses, incorporating speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
    • Introduce students to the cultural diversity of Spanish-speaking countries through literature, music, art, and current events.
    • Create a supportive and immersive classroom environment where students feel confident to communicate in Spanish and appreciate cultural differences.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, technology, and authentic resources to engage students and enhance language learning.
    • Assess student proficiency through quizzes, exams, oral presentations, and written assignments, providing timely feedback to support growth and improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Valid teaching certification/license in Spanish (or eligibility to obtain certification in South Carolina).
    • Demonstrated experience in teaching Spanish,with proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish.
    • Strong knowledge of Spanish language and culture, with the ability to incorporate cultural competency into instruction.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Passion for language education and a commitment to helping students develop proficiency in Spanish.
