- Provide assistance in development of DNP accreditation and regulatory reports.
- Works with the administrative team in promoting state-wide and national recognition for the DNP program.

The School of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nursing.
These degrees include a traditional BSN and 2nd degree BSN pre-licensure degree, an RN to BSN, along with graduate degrees in Nursing Education, Nursing Administration, Family Nurse Practitioner, a Post-graduate certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health NP and our new Doctor in Nursing Practice (DNP) that started in Fall 2022.
Our faculty teach on two campuses, in both Edinburg and in Brownsville. We have full simulation labs that offer state of the art educational opportunities for all our students.We collaborate with the other health science programs at UTRGV on interdisciplinary clinical experiences and work with hospitals throughout the entire Rio Grande Valley.

Minimum QualificationsDoctor Nurse Practitioner (DNP). Texas RN license or ability to be licensed as RN in Texas prior to beginning the position.
