- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of anesthesia technician or related anesthesia/OR experience.
- Supervisory or progressively responsible work-related experience preferred.
- Requires a BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
- Prefer certification as an Anesthesia Technician.
- ACLS and PALS are preferred.
- Must have knowledge of asepsis, sterilization, anesthesia equipment, and supply management.
- Must be able to troubleshoot equipment and assemble/operate complex equipment.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
- Must have technical knowledge and skills to operate, troubleshoot technical procedures, and evaluate others.
- Must have sound communication skills to interact with diverse groups.
