JOB SUMMARY:

Are you an experienced nurse looking for a rewarding role? As a Registered Nurse on our team, you'll provide high-quality care to patients within a specialized clinical area. Join us in upholding our care delivery standards and professional practice models while contributing to the overall success of our unit.

Applicants must meet and maintain all Weekend Option requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Clinical Practice:

Demonstrate expertise in caring for a specific patient population.
Act as a clinical resource and integrate evidence into practice.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver patient-centered care.

Professional Development:

Engage in continuous professional development and serve as a mentor to new staff.
Participate in unit-based educational initiatives and support skills development.

Service/Quality:

Drive high-quality, patient-centered care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in quality measures.

Patient Safety:

Prioritize patient safety and report any incidents or risks.
Adhere to protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe environment for patients.

Operations:

Lead team efforts and actively participate in unit and organizational activities.
Contribute to recruitment, retention, and performance evaluation processes.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Maryland or eligibility via Compact state agreements.
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience.
