    Job Description

    The Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing support on compensation related matters, policies, and procedures. Collaborates with HR partners and business leaders to advise and execute on compensation policies and initiatives. Conducts job evaluations, market analyses, and research to support decisions and program recommendations. Support key, annual projects such as market pricing review/update, compensation planning cycle, etc. Partner with other team members to ensure technology, guidelines and processes are consistently applied.

    Responsibilities
    Prepares and maintains job descriptions and career framework profiles for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents
    Analyzes job profiles and specifications using job evaluation and leveling techniques. Aligns jobs and establishes compensation parameters equitable within the organization and competitive to the external market. Ensures all reviewed jobs have the proper exemption status, meet compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.

    Participate in compensation and benefits discussions by providing insights into job roles and market trends to ensure fair and competitive compensation packages.

    Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to job analysis, job descriptions, and HR practices
    Collaborate with Talent Enablement to ensure the Career Framework competencies are aligned to job evaluations.
    Participates in third-party compensation surveys and compiling data from published sources. Performs research with peer companies and similar external markets. Ensure data is accurate and available for use.
    Evaluates and implements job analysis instruments and materials.
    Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position
    Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends

    Additional Functions
    Create detailed standard work documentation
    Support the administration of Compensation programs at the direction of the Manager-Compensation and Director-Global Total Rewards
    Support and manage various special compensation projects as assigned
    Maintain regular and punctual attendance
    Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required
    Communicate effectively and respectfully with others
    Drive a car or other vehicle
    Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules
    Other responsibilities as assigned

    Education

    Required
    Associate's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
    Proven experience as a Job Analyst or Compensation Analyst
    In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in broad-based compensation with a strong understanding of job evaluation techniques

    Preferred

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field

    Certification in HR-related disciplines (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD)

    Skills, Knowledge, & Experience

    Required
    Experience as a compensation analyst
    Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Business Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook)
    Communicate professionally, through both written and verbal communications
    Analyze and problem-solve
    Execute time management and organizational skills, pay attention to detail, and prioritize and meet deadlines
    Provide exceptional customer service and negotiation services
    Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies, competency modeling, and HR best practices
    Proficiency in using HR software and tools for data collection, analysis, and documentation
    Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders
    Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
    Awareness of labor laws, regulations, and equal employment opportunity guidelines that impact job evaluation and description processes

    Preferred

    Proficiency in Spanish
