About Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services complete spacecraft design and manufacturing payloads satellite components and more all with the goal of opening access space Our Electron rocket has become the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket annually and has delivered more than 230 satellites to orbit all while we work to develop Neutron our upcoming medium-lift reusable launch vehicle for larger constellation deployment As a Project Management Engineering Intern based at Rocket Lab's site in Albuquerque New Mexico you will have the opportunity to support the Program Management Team in working with project team that will be supporting transforming our production layout to a modern and more efficient process flow along with we will be implementing new tools into our production facility to modernize the tooling within our site What You'll Get To Do as an intern you will work closely with your mentor and other employees within the department to apply your knowledge and grow your skills both technically professionally Work with a fast-paced group of professionals to apply engineering industry concepts solve real challenges Attend frequent 1:1s mentors supervisors facilitate success learning provide progress updates Enjoy tech talks network interns employees through social professional events
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled associates bachelor's master's or doctorate degree program engineering physics math discipline have at least one semester school remaining post internship GPA 3.0 above Must have 3+ months applied engineering experience internship laboratory personal/team project experience applicable
- GPA 3.5 above Experience Project Management Hands-On work Experience Electrical Mechanical Manufacturing Systems CAD/CAM Experience Skills Nice Have Additional Requirements Able full-time on-site minimum consecutive weeks beginning February March relevant job description not mentioned here.
