- Reviews construction documents and understands scope of work to bid.
- Executes take-offs of construction documents.
- Obtains pricing for materials and bids from subcontractors.
- Prepares cost analysis utilizing computer platform by calculating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items.
- Responsible for ensuring revenue and profitability requirements are met by providing detailed and accurate
- job proposals.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of material costs, customer trends, and latest product information.
- Maintain positive working relations with all team members.
- Must manage the proposal process and ensure all requirements are met for a successful proposal submission to client
- Providing conceptual estimates without much information provided
- Provide hard bid lump sum competitive estimates
- Technical writing skills to prepare professional construction proposals to clients.
- Attend pre-bids conferences
- Meeting or beating deliverable deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (preferred, not required)
- Experience in commercial construction management
- Ability to bid, negotiate and manage commercial construction projects
- Experience with design build and construction manager at risk contracts is preferred.
- Customer Service oriented and excellent communication skills
- Experience with project scheduling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Vista, and WinEst preferred

We have an immediate opening for a Project Estimator. The ideal candidate will have experience collecting and analyzing data in order to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to construct a building.
