Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab Rad Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting the physicians during interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them

Operate radiology equipment and administer contrast media as needed

Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or emergencies

Assist physicians during interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Maintain and ensure the safety of equipment and supplies in the Cath Lab

Keep accurate records and document patient information in electronic medical records

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field

Current ARRT certification

State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations

Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and guidelines
