    Key Responsibilities:
    Conduct patient consultations, diagnose cancers, and develop personalized treatment plans.

    Manage and treat a variety of hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.

    Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication.

    Qualifications:
    Board-eligible or board-certified in Medical Oncology (fellowship preferred).

    Active medical license in the state of Washington (only).

    ABLS and ACLS certifications required.

    Experience working in a hospital and outpatient oncology setting preferred.

    Excellent clinical skills, a strong knowledge base in medical oncology and hematology, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

    Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

    You will be providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

    Call Coverage:
    Primarily clinic calls with a 5% callback rate.

    Patient Load:
    See 15-20 patients per day.

    Follow-up Consults: Expect approximately 2 new consults per day with 30-minute and 45-minute appointment slots.

    Admissions:
    You will be responsible for admitting new patients.

    On-Call Responsibilities:
    During hospital call, you will be responsible for clinic calls and may be required to manage hospital-based patients.

    Hematology vs.

    Oncology Split:
    Approximately 25% of call volume will involve hematologic cases.

    Patient Types:
    You will see patients with hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
