- Work closely with and serve as a thought partner to the Dean of the CCW to deliver a vibrant, strong College for Women that engages students and contributes to a dynamic overall campus culture for Converse
- Manage, track, market, promote, and execute the planning, marketing, and event set-up for every major CCW event
- Manage and delegate reasonable tasks to the CCW Work Study student worker and CCW student intern
- Manage and guide the CCW Council representatives by leading bi-weekly meetings and setting clear goals and tasks for student leaders such as the management of CCW social media channels
- Create leadership training opportunities for CCW Council representatives
- Manage Big Sis/Little Sis programming each fall, and the Sophomore Bracelet and Senior Candlelight traditions each spring
- Manage CCW Council elections each spring
- Track budget expenses and help facilitate the successful execution of CCW programming and events and stewardship of CCW resources
- Aid in maintaining CCW primary spaces such as reporting any necessary repairs or needs in the CCW Commons Student Lounge space and Pell Hall's main lobby spaces
- Aid in the planning of and make arrangements for CCW events, programs, and traditions including event set-up, necessary work orders, and catering orders
- Partner with and serve as a CCW liaison to key areas on campus such as but not limited to Faculty, Staff, Student Life, Athletics, Student Activities, Spiritual Life, and Communications
- Work with the Community Advisors and Residence Director of Pell Hall-the on-campus home of all CCW first-year students to align programming and community goals with the larger CCW
- Coordinate tracking of CCW student engagement including attendance at CCW programming and events
- Manage announcements, event pledge attendance tracking, and document sharing with the CCW via the CCW Canvas site
- Track and maintain organized rosters of all CCW members by year using the SSRS report system, Slate, Jenzabar, and Canvas
- Partner with Career Development and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to create strong programming that supports the professional development of CCW students and fosters an inclusive community within the CCW
- Communicate regularly with the Admissions team to deliver a cohesive CCW recruiting plan including CCW call nights and consistent communication with prospective CCW students
- Attend and help lead Admissions events at which CCW maintains a presence including but not limited to Open House events, Accepted Students Day, Valkyrie Vision Days, etc.
- Coordinate Call Sessions with Admissions team and CCW Council representatives to call prospective students interested in the CCW and Converse
- Help draft communications including email messages, social media posts, phone call scripts, and welcome messages to keep prospective students informed and engaged
- Build off-campus partnerships with area corporations and non-profit organizations to create employment, internship, and mentorship opportunities for CCW students
- Communicate with local non-profit organizations for the development and execution of CCW fall and spring community service projects
- Communicate regularly with the Director of Alumni Relations to ensure CCW alumni are informed and welcomed to programs and events on campus

Job DescriptionSUMMARY OF POSITION: The Director of the Converse College for Women (CCW) is an integral leader of the CCW and requires a driven, organized, and high-energy individual who is dedicated to mentoring and fostering the professional and leadership development of CCW students, to delivering the programs, events, and traditions vital to the historic heart of Converse University, the CCW, and to working closely with and serving as a strong thought partner to the Dean of the CCW in order to lead the CCW with excellence and passion. The CCW Director will interface with Converse faculty and staff, alumnae, off-campus community leaders, prospective students, and current students at on and off-campus events, and will serve as liaison for the CCW to key areas on campus including Admissions, Alumni Relations, Student Life, Diversity & Inclusion, Athletics, and Career Development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
CCW Management: 40%
Internal Campus Engagement: 25%
Recruitment: 20%
External Off-Campus Engagement: 15%
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires someone who is highly-driven, organized, and a committed team member who can deliver the CCW events, programs, traditions, and development of CCW student leaders with consistency and excellence, and who possesses: excellent verbal and written communication skills; a high level of emotional maturity and social intelligence who can work with a wide range of individuals, strong social skills, and excellent stress management skills; strong project management skills and the ability to work independently in a timely, organized manner with an excellent attention to detail.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required; Master's or higher graduate degree preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Women's College experience as student or staff member preferred, or relative experience that contributes to an understanding and commitment to the mission of the Converse College for Women.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Suite. Excellent interpersonal communication skills in speaking and writing, strong presentation skills, organization and ability to prioritize tasks, and ability to work independently.
GUIDELINES AND SUPERVISION: Must be able to work independently with the ability to use discretion and judgment.
Work Schedule: Onsite
Hours: 8am-5pm with some weekends and nights
