    Description
    To implement the sourcing strategy for the local categories with exposure to Clinical studies and/or Non Interventional Studies.

    Will also align to the overall BI sourcing strategy to constantly increase productivity, optimize the external global spend, and reduce costs.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Implement Category Strategy following the centrally stipulated Target Operating Model (TOM) and inform accordingly local Business Partners (BPs).
    Identify, evaluate and classify sourcing risks and devise risk mitigation measures.
    Manage risk exposure.
    Identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers as well as the establishment and maintenance of supplier relations.
    Use Business Review Meeting and KPI leverage to resolve potential issues at an early stage.
    Provide feedback to (Senior) Category Manager as needed.
    Manage local Business Partners actively and collaborate in order to align common goals.
    Coordinate Business Partner demands within Sourcing and ensure that relevant information is shared and Business Partner is supported adequately.
    Optimize buying channels and leverage market opportunities
    Leverage sourcing tools (including e or reverse-auction, parallel negotiation, etc.)
    Maximize usage of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) or Frame Services Agreements (FSAs) as possible

    Requirements

    Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred from an accredited institution.
    Three to six years (3-6) experience in category management
    Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred
    Knowledge of pragmatic studies or digital therapies preferred
    Familiarity with GxP and exposure to Clinical studies and/or Non Interventional Studies preferred
    Demonstrated efficiency in:

    Demand management; Market and supplier analysis; Agility; Relationship building; Driving results

    Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities

    Eligibility Requirements

    :

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
    Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
    Must be 18 years of age or older.
