- Examine, diagnose, and treat dermatologic conditions and illnesses within the provider's scope of practice.
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing
- Document a comprehensive plan of care to meet the dermatology needs of each patient
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate medical record documentation, adhere to billing and coding requirements, and follow all policies and procedures of Bliss Dermatology
- Promote healthy practices and educate patients, staff, and the public regarding healthy dermatology practices and healthy lifestyles
- Lead the clinical team and other assistants to ensure follow-up and completion of plans of care
- Support the administration and management of Bliss Dermatology to meet Key Performance Indicators, adherence to policies and procedures, marketing activities, community engagement activities, and other methods/programs of continuous improvement
- Represent the management and administration of Bliss Dermatology in a positive manner, even in the face of disagreement
- Be a positive representation of Bliss Dermatology at all times – while at work and out in the community
- Adhere to the Employee Handbook and follow the same rules/guidelines as non-provider team members
- Adhere to all requirements of regulatory bodies such as CMS, OSHA, OIG, etc.
- Complete continuing education and maintain Florida licensure free from disciplinary or administrative action by the licensing board
- Other duties as assigned
- Master or Doctorate prepared APRN or PA-C
- Certification and licensure required in the State of Florida
- Previous dermatology experience preferred but not required.

Summary/Objective:
The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a skilled member of the healthcare team who provides medical, surgical, cosmetic, and educational dermatology services to patients under the collaboration of a licensed physician within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License in the State of Florida
