Pay Rate: $20.00-$23.00/hr based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire, First Shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm)
Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker for a growing manufacturing company in Holly, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures that support production operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong machining knowledge and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Tool and Die Maker with a strong understanding of machining processes, precision measurement tools, and blueprint interpretation. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and maintaining tooling components used in production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, and other equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble, and test dies, gauges, and fixtures to precise tolerances.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing tools and dies.
• Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and maintenance to improve processes and support machine repairs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker (apprenticeship or equivalent technical training preferred).
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, metallurgy, and precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Ability to work independently, follow technical instructions, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
