    Position Summary

    This position reports to the Director of Decision Services and is responsible for generating, maintaining, and executing test cases to support our data analyses, reporting, credit modeling, and eligibility eco-system. This position will also foresee that all aspects of data aggregation and credit modeling adhere to the overall Corporate Compliance policies. This position supports customers within the department as well as those outside of the department. Other duties as assigned.

    Job Responsibility
    • Work with project teams to identify and document test cases necessary to thoroughly test the solution that is being built (Data ETL, JSON/XML APIs, JAVA, Tableau, Matilion, Glue, etc....)
    • Build/Execute the test cases within the tools provided and provide the results to the Manager and project team for review/approval
    • Work with the Credit Risk Model developers to document, publish, promote, and deploy the risk models through the BitBucket pipeline
    • Maintain Mock Services for internal and 3rd party data providers to be used by team members for streamlining testing
    • Documentation related to test cases and results
    • Build and maintain an automated suite of regression test cases
    • Monitor jobs post-deployment for accuracy of decisions and potential errors

    Education Required

    Bachelor's Degree in information systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or other relevant field.

    Experience Required

    At least 2 years' experience

    Familiarity with databases (Oracle, PostGres), Cloud-based data storage (Dynamo, Aurora, Snowflake), data manipulation and presentation. Experience testing large datasets that will be used for analyses or reporting. Experience using tools such as SoapUI/LoadUI or other test automation tools. Experience testing JSON/XML APIs through tools such as Postman or SoapUI. Experience with Python, R, and AWS Cloud Services are a plus.

    Knowledge Required

    Excellent written and verbal communications skills as would be needed to communicate in person, by phone, and through email; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply information. Ability to interact professionally and exhibit appropriate social skills. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products. Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
