    Description


    Newton-Wellesley Medical Group (NWMG), a member of Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, is seeking a Medical Director to oversee our outpatient primary care practice located in Waltham, MA.

    Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in FM or Med-Peds.


    The Role:


    As a key member of the clinical team, the Medical Director will report to the Director of Primary Care and provide the full scope of primary care services which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to patients.

    In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Medical Director will also be responsible for:
    supervising and evaluating all primary care providers and specialists, process improvement focused on clinical care, patient access, staffing, utilization management and patient scheduling, assisting in the development, implementation and monitoring of quality improvement and compliance efforts, budgeting and strategic planning
