    Responsibilities

    Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.


    • Collect outgoing mail/packages, affix proper postage and prepare for receipt by postal agent. Arrange for pick ups of all overnight/express mail by delivery agents.
    • Sort incoming mail/parcels and distribute to proper recipients.
    • Track and record volume of mail for reporting purposes.
    • Maintain mail room equipment and supplies. Report equipment malfunctions and repair/correct when possible.
    Requirements


    Education:

    • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
    Additional Preferences

    This multi-faceted position splits time between the Bayley Building and the St. Francis Flower and Gift Shop.


    Duties include:

    Bayley Mailroom Clerk:

    Sorting and distributing post office and interoffice mail; metering outgoing mail; maintaining mailroom month-end information; ordering office supplies for all Bayley departments; and maintaining the general inventory supply room, break rooms and other duties as assigned.

    St


    Francis Gift Shop:

    Inventory management of incoming merchandise to include checking in and pricing items to be placed on the showroom floor; assisting with ordering; cashiering and customer service; answering the phone; intake of floral orders; in-house delivery of floral orders and other duties as assigned.
