    Job DescriptionSalary: $17 per hour

    REPORTS TO: Rape and Sexual Assault Advocate Program Manager

    LOCATION: St. George

    HOURS: Full-time 40 hours per week

    PAY: $17.00 Hourly

    Hospital Advocate Response Team

    • Complete the 40 hour UCASA training
    • Construct and participate in 24-hour hospital advocate response team (HART)
    • Recruit, train and coordinate rape crisis volunteers
    • Coordinate Rape Crisis follow-up
    • Collaborate with DOVE Shelter in St George for Rape Crisis service (if and when needed)
    • Develop working relationships with forensic nurses, hospital staff, victim advocates, law enforcement, prosecutors, and

    local government leadership in Washington County

    Advocacy

    • Provide short term and long term telephone and/or in-person intakes, case management, direct services, or referrals (in-person services must be conducted in the community)
    • Maintain and ensure clear/concise client files: including service notes, client correspondence, and hospital call outs
    • Attend quarterly Washington County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) meetings
    • Report monthly statistics to Program Coordinator as required by grant
    • Ensure that grant objectives are being met along with all grant reporting requirements
    • Engage in ongoing case staffing, and supervision with RSA Program Manager
    • Participate in applicable, appropriate, related professional development opportunities (including trainings and staff meetings)
    • Assure culturally competent service is available

    RSA Education/ Support Group

    • Expand educational outreach about DOVE Center's services for RSA primary and secondary survivors
    • Coordinate with city officials and other community partners to secure a low or no-cost meeting location such as a library or civic center
    • Partner with DOVE's clinical therapist in Washington County to co-facilitate and plan the RSA art therapy support group
    • Staff Outreach events throughout Washington County to promote awareness and education on sexual assault, domestic violence and DOVE services as well as recruit for HART

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or other Behavioral Science field preferred
    • Two years of experience working with domestic/sexual violence preferred
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written); and polished presentation skills
    • Must be highly organized and capable of self-direction
    • Proficient time management and resource management capabilities
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Must have a private, confidential space to work with internet access (work laptop will be provided)
    • Must adhere to the federal VAWA and HIPAA laws pertaining to confidentiality protected information
    • Must adhere to guidelines set forth by DOVE Center, the Department of Human Services (DHS), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), and other governing bodies, concerning program policies, and code of ethics
    • Demonstrated commitment to excellent client service
    • Computer literacy in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
    • Ability to work evening and weekends when needed
    • Ability to work sensitively and effectively with diverse populations
