- Perform required duties and functions including order picking, full pallet replenishments, product moves, loading, unloading, and put away. Assisting with other projects as assigned.
- Maintains PIT certifications on the walkie rider, pacer, reach truck, Turret Truck, and Cherry Picker. Demonstrates competency using an RF scanning device.
- Report quality and inventory variances to individual leads and/or supervisors
- Maintain the facilities, equipment, tools and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion, adhering to all sanitation practices
- Assists company in servicing the customer and meeting all required Key Performance Indicators
- Follows all AMES/ACDC policies and procedures, best practices, and OSHA regulations
- Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Other duties as assigned (including, but not limited to, training of others within job class, sanitation, down pallets clean-up, safety committee, etc.)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Able to complete simple math, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions
- At least two of the three stand up forklift certifications and RF scanning device experience or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Pass and maintain industrial lift truck certifications
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on concrete floor with/without floor mats; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (which may include above and/or below shoulders); bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to use left and/or right hand for simple grasping; fine work, pushing/pulling and fast paced assembly. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
