    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated career and customer-oriented Scrum Master II in Stafford, VA.

    The Scrum Master's primary function is to, as a Journeyman, assist an Agile team to meet their delivery goals, execute team events/processes, and participate in Agile Release Train events/processes. They educate an Agile team in Scrum, Built-in-Quality, Kanban, and Scaled Agile and ensure that the agreed Agile processes are followed. They are integral members of an Agile team and share responsibilities with the team for their overall performance, ensuring no gaps and that the team knows how to plan, execute, review, and retrospect.

    The Scrum Master II takes direction from more senior personnel.


    Performance shall include:

    • Facilitate PI Planning
    • Support iteration execution (with the team, Release Train Engineer, and Product Owner).
    • Improve team workflow.
    • Build high-performing teams.
    • Improve ART collaboration/performance.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • A Bachelor's degree in an IT or related discipline and 5 years of experience.
    • 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.
    • DoD m IAT Level-II Certification.
    • Certified Scrum Master.
    • A High School Diploma and 9 years of experience or an Associates and 7 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Degree.
    • A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.

    Desired Education and Experience:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related discipline.
    • 2 years of experience in an Agile development environment.

    Security Clearance:

    • Current Secret Clearance is required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
    • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
    • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
    • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
