- Make daily staff adjustments that result in effective cost control

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience as a supervisor in a distribution/fulfillment center
- College degree preferred
- Prior experience in a highly mechanized distribution/fulfillment environment
- Prior experience in supervising a large group of associates in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge and use of computer controlled conveyor and sorting equipment as well as material handling equipment preferred
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
- The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
- Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
- Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
- Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel Required.

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for achieving customer satisfaction for client customers, maintaining schedules and deadlines, maintain performance standards and taking adequate measures to monitor and control performance, supervise and develop an effective work force promoting team concept, monitoring training and progress of new associates.
