Occupational Therapist (Full-time)

Location: Lovington, NM

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for full-time positions within schools located in the Lovington, NM area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who meet all local and state requirements for this role.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of New Mexico.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Compliance with all local and state regulations regarding occupational therapy practice.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support students' academic and functional goals.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Participate in meetings, including IEP meetings and team conferences.
• Provide support and education to parents and caregivers as needed.
