    Pre Press Operator


    We are seeking Pre Press Operators to begin learning the preparation of plates including: how to make, cut and demount the flexographic plates, clean the Twinlock sleeves, sort and stack the flexographic plates. Also, during the sorting and stacking phase you will be required to perform quality inspections on the plates. After these skills have been gained, you will have the opportunity to learn plate mounting and start a rotation with the other makers in the preparation portion of the job.

    What you will do

    • Making, Cutting, and Demounting of flexographic Plates
    • Sorting and Stacking flexographic Plates
    • Quality Inspection of Flexographic Plates
    • Data Entry
    • Organizing Flexographic Plates
    • Cleaning and Storing TwinLock Sleeves
    • Cross train in plate cutting, plate making, and plate mounting
    • Perform Autonomous Maintenance activities (cleaning and lubrication activities to maintain equipment) and involvement in World Class Manufacturing teams and analysis

    We believe you have

    • High School Diploma or GED Preferred
    • Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred
    • Basic machine maintenance skills
    • Quality inspection and machine systems handling
    • Intermediate computer skills
    • Dependability and reliability
    • Eager and committed to grow in a company that practices world class manufacturing in every way, every day.
    • Basic math skills, basic reading comprehension, basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and World Class Manufacturing processes
    • Must be available to work 12 hours shifts of 36 hrs/week and 48 hrs/week, including alternating weekends.
